Key Responsibilities:
Understanding requirements & functional specifications
Developing and maintaining dynamic websites and web applications
Ensuring foolproof performance of the deliverable
Sending regular updates about project status
Experience of object oriented programming / modular programming (essential)
Front-end development including jQuery (desirable, not essential).
Experience of the full software development lifecycle: from requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery (desirable, not essential).
Commercial experience in Web Application development and / or software development (desirable, not essential).
Essential Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelors Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
At least 2 years of programming experience.
Must be proficient in PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, XMLPHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, XML - Candidate should be a top-notch PHP5 developer, familiar with the latest features in PHP5.2.X and 5.3.X.
MySQL - Modern database development expertise, words like trigger and view should be part of your vocabulary.
Hands-on any PHP based framework/CMS like CakePHP or Joomla, Word Press, Drupal, Magento.
Good to have Object Oriented Programming Skills (PHP5).
Must write efficient code with documentation.
Can read code written by others and experience in debugging code.
Self-Starter - Looking for candidates who can jump in quickly without a lot of direction.
Must be a team player, posses a good attitude and be self-disciplined
