Job Description :
*Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
*Using a range of computer packages for developing detailed designs
*Undertaking complex and repetitive calculations
*Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects, subcontractors, etc
*Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures
*Resolving design and development problems
*Managing budgets and project resources
*Scheduling material and equipment purchases and delivery
*Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.
*Working as a civil engineer you may be required to work away from home for periods of time. *Frequent visits to sites may also be necessary, especially for new graduates.
*Travel abroad may be possible with a large consultancy company.
While regular office hours are the norm, you may have to work long days and some weekends close to project deadlines. Overnight and weekend stays may be required for site inspections. Site engineers and managers can be on call 24 hours a day.

Sourcing Operations Leader Asst Manager

  • Job Scope includes  :
    • Assume line management responsibility for a team of typically 8- 10
Procurement Specialists/Sr. Procurement Specialists who provide Sourcing Process Support to Sourcing &Logistics Team & Clients
The Job Involves:
·         Providing Buying , Transaction, Strategic & Analytic  support  by performing wide Range of Direct & Indirect Commodity work requests using broader knowledge of Sourcing & Procurement
·         Driving Fundamental Improvements in Commodity Area’s.
·         Significant interaction with US Sites , Suppliers , Sourcing Managers & Buyers
·         Provide Subject Matter Support on Sourcing Domain to Procurement Specialists to maximize the effectiveness / efficiency of the process.
    • Work Closely with Suppliers, Buyers, Sourcing Managers and Sites to provide Procurement Support.
    • Serve as the first escalation point (both as people manager & SME ) within the team and for S&L and Clients
    • Work closely with the Quality Team to improve the efficiency / quality of the work
    • Management & Development of the individuals on the team, including performance & career management.

  • Job Scope includes  :
Assume line management responsibility for a team of typically 8 - 10 Procurement Specialists, Sr Procurement Specialists and Analysts who provide Reporting & Analytic support for DSCI Operations and S&L Clients.
The Job Involves:
    • The activities of the team involve :
·         Providing Strategic, Analytic & Reporting (MIS) support to Global Service Centers and S&L across regions.
·         Proficient in providing SAP Reports, Spend Analysis, Supplier Profiling & Internal SLA MIS reporting.
·         To validate and provide insights on the Spend Opportunity Assessment and help/support with data for Negotiations & Strategic decisions.
·         Competent in Analysis & Judgment, Customer Relationship Management, MIS, BI tools & Microsoft Excel. Have basic Supply Chain knowledge.


    • Groom/mentor team members to enhance process quality and efficiency by involving and empowering them with business nuances.
o   Drive operationally driven activities, including evaluating the results and recommended next steps for further implementation.
    • Closely work with Internal and External stakeholders in order to calibrate/support & execute the Analytics & Reporting activities within Global Service Centre’s and NA S/L.
    • Adept at handling conflicts/escalation within the team and for S&L Clients
    • Seasoned peoples managers who is able to groom and mentor team members to align and achieve career aspiration within the current DSCI set up

E.       Experience in designing /defining CTQ’s (Critical to quality) and SLA’s for processes.
