About the Job:
The company is looking for an AVP (Operations) to provide middle management level
leadership to the operations team working in the field.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Participate and provide inputs in preparing the operations business plans for the
organization
Roll out operations plan in the specified areas of operation
Ensure compliances with the operational policies of the company at all levels;
Ensure the processes for meeting the clients, operations teams in the field and regular
reporting at all levels of the operations to internal and external stake holders
Coordinate the HR and Training teams for Recruitment and capacity building of the
operation team
Coordinate with various functional teams at Head Office for necessary support for the
field operations to achieve the set goals.
Act as the primary direction provider for the department as well as the final
troubleshooter for operational (business and employee) level issues;
Liaison with relevant local government authorities and external stake holders to promote
the organizations cause and help resolve local issues (specially community based ones);
Provide inputs on completion in the sector through regular updates from field.
Qualifications:
Educational qualifications: MBA;
About 8-10 years overall experience in operations in any bank, financial institution or an
MFI.
Leadership and team management skills, communication verbal and written skills,
planning
