Ability to support large environment of approx 16000 mailboxes spanned across multiple locations in 24/7 environment.
Microsoft Exchange expert with focus on Exchange 2003/2007
Exchange 2007 High-Availability and Load Balancing requirements including DAG in virtual environment.
Exchange 2007/2010 internal and external client connectivity.
Good understanding of exchange CAS/HUB servers and mailbox servers.
Archiving and Journaling – Hub transport Rules
Windows Server 2008/2008R2.
Active Directory - Windows 2008/2008R2
Proficiency in Powershell usage and scripting.
Troubleshoot Outlook 2007/2010.
Configuring and troubleshooting email transport related technologies (DNS, SMTP, RPC, POP3, etc.)
Business Continuity strategies
Ability to provide 3rd level support as it relates to messaging
Good exposure and experience in MobileIron, PGP, and virtual sophos Email appliance (VSEA), exchange real time monitoring, Good technology and exchange Forefront.
Hands on experience on archiving using Enterprise Vault application.
Proven implementation capabilities of the technologies listed above
Good hands on knowledge on Blackberry Enterprise Server and configuration of mobile devices and not limited to iphones and ipads.
Ability to develop documentation, test, and implementation plans
Ability to work independently or collaborate with team members, as required
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Additional details
Resource must be a multi-tasker and ability to work under pressure.
Mandatory 24/7 support, manage and maintenance and on-call support.
Overall 5-7 years of experience in large exchange environment .
2-3 years in Exchange 2010 and rest in exchange 2007
Ability to manage 16000+ mailboxes, mail routing, public and private folders.
Technologies involved are “GOOD TECHNOLOGY, MOBILE IRON “.
“ENTERPRISE VAULT” for archiving messages.
Archived messages are stored in “CENTERA”.
Exchange environment is completely virtualized.
